This is a direct hire role, based out of Chicago, IL that manages the Northern Illinois region.


Schedule: Monday through Friday


Pay Rate: $70,000 to $110,000 per year DOE




Please Note: this role requires daily travel. While there will not be any overnight trips, the selected candidate would be responsible for travelling to banks in the Northern Illinois region up to three hours away from Chicago, IL.


 


Our client, a financial association, is looking for a Director of Membership Engagement to add to their team!


 


The Director of Membership Engagement drives member engagement and resource utilization. This role connects current and prospective members with all the benefits the association offers, ensuring they're informed and supported.


 


Director, Membership Engagement Responsibilities:



  • Execute annual outreach plans, ensuring personalized member contact.

  • Travel to banks across the Northern IL Region, connecting members with relevant resources and building strong relationships with key bank decision-makers.

  • Address member needs on an ongoing basis.

  • Promote association resources to drive engagement and retention.

  • Identify opportunities to expand membership.

  • Collaborate on compelling presentations and proposals.

  • Track engagement metrics for improvement.

  • Contribute to strategic initiatives for membership growth.

  • Maintain accurate member records in CRM.

  • Represent the association at industry events.


Required Qualifications :

Director, Membership Engagement Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years banking/sales experience.

  • Proven track record in client relationship management.

  • Strong understanding of the banking industry.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office.

  • Willingness to travel.
