Executive Assistant (Hybrid)
This is a hybrid opportunity in downtown Chicago.

Duration: Temp-to-hire
Pay Rate: $32-35/hr temp; $70K upon conversion
Our client, a non-profit in the healthcare space, is seeking an Executive Assistant to support a high-level executive.
Responsibilities
- Calendar management for executive and adjacent team; scheduling meetings and ensuring attendees have all necessary materials
- Take incoming calls and correspondence or forward to the appropriate contact as necessary
- Communicate staff and senior management requests to executive, ensuring prompt response, prioritizing appropriately, and maintaining confidentiality
- Support the executive with external meetings/conferences
- Assist with the development of executive presentations/memos, which may include proofreading, researching, and general editing
- Handle all travel details including the arrangement of flights, hotel booking, etc.
- Handle all executive expense reports appropriately; manage company credit card
- Follow-up on all questions/discrepancies regarding travel budgets, policies, and processes
- Coordinate administrative duties with other assistants across the division
- May include other responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of work experience in a professional office environment and all corresponding best practices and SOPs
- Proofreading skills and attention to detail in reviewing documents and presentations
- Experience supporting senior or C-suite executives
- Previous experience leading administrative staff
- Strong multi-tasking, planning, and organizational skills needed
- Diplomacy and tact are required in internal and external communications
- Must be able to work autonomously and exercise judgment in task delegation
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills across written and verbal mediums to correspond between departments
- Discretion and integrity required
- Software skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; strong PowerPoint skills essential
- Able to work extended hours on occasion
