This is a direct hire, hybrid role located in Downtown Chicago, IL.


Schedule: Monday through Friday (2-3 days onsite)


Pay Rate: 100k to 120k DOE




Our client, a respected healthcare association, is looking for a Lead Human Resources Business Partner to add to their team!


 


Lead HRBP Responsibilities:



  • Serve as an HR partner and subject matter expert/consultant to assigned business units.

  • Design, develop and implement HR strategies and equitable solutions to address client needs.

  • Contribute to the development of the business strategy by partnering with business leaders to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, competencies, skills and processes.

  • Provide recommendations to leaders relative to business unit structure, workforce planning, talent reviews and succession planning.

  • Consult with business leaders on enterprise programs including performance management, compensation, talent management, engagement, training, and development.

  • Drive change through the business and its HR programs utilizing change management tools.

  • Responsible for independently conducting thorough and objective investigations involving allegations of discrimination, harassment and retaliation following legal and industry best practices.

  • Provide advice and coaching to senior managers and employees and make recommendations and ensure appropriate action is taken.

  • Address training and development needs, DEI issues, compensation structures, benefit-related inquiries and issues, system issues, on-boarding and recruiting needs.


Required Qualifications :

Lead HRBP Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree required. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum 7+ years of HR business partner experience required.

  • Substantive knowledge of HR and business unit strategies.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage simple to highly complex employee relations matters and investigations using a diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) lens.

  • Proven track record of navigating organizational boundaries and building strong relationships with Senior Leaders and Managers.

  • Strong consulting, interpersonal, teamwork, communication, service delivery and client service skills.

  • Strong knowledge of HR policies and processes (performance management, talent management, rewards and recognition, employee relations, compensation).

  • Solid understanding of Human Resources laws and principles required, including ADA, FMLA, PWFA.
