This is a long-term temporary role in Downtown Chicago, IL.


 


Schedule: Monday – Friday; Hybrid (2 days in office)


Compensation: $28 - 35/hr, depending on experience


Duration: Long-term temporary; 3+ months


Location: Downtown Chicago


 


Our client, a national non-profit medical association, is seeking a paralegal/administrative support to engage in a long-term temporary project analyzing and parsing through legal contracts.


 


RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Conduct thorough review and analysis of legal contracts, taking extant contracts, parsing through their contents, and dividing based on core and non-core product offerings of this association

  • Identify and summarize key terms, clauses, and obligations outlined in contracts

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and legal professionals to ensure contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies

  • Assist in the preparation of contract summaries, reports, and other documentation as needed

  • Maintain accurate and organized records of contract review activities and findings

  • Perform legal research and analysis as assigned by leadership

  • Work closely with sales team to ensure agreed-upon sales/billing terms are reflected accurately in contracts


Required Qualifications :

CANDIDATE PROFILE:



  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 2-5 years of office administrative experience

  • Paralegal experience preferred, but not required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google suites

  • Ability to read and comprehend contracts and legal fine print

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

  • Willingness to learn areas of law and adapt to changing priorities
